About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review, analyze, and process court publications.
- Identify procedural deadlines and required actions based on legal notices.
- Analyze case updates and direct the necessary follow-up actions.
- Draft pleadings of low to moderate complexity.
- Monitor court proceedings across different electronic systems.
- Control and manage procedural deadlines.
- Analyze decisions, orders, and judgments, identifying the appropriate procedural measures.
- Manage a high-volume litigation portfolio.
- Liaise with internal teams and clients to request and follow up on supporting information and documentation.
- Ensure that case management systems are kept up to date and that operational workflows are followed.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Law degree and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
- Excellent legal writing and strong argumentation skills.
- Proficiency with legal technology tools.
- Proactive, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Experience in high-volume litigation practices.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Experience with portfolios in the basic sanitation sector and public utility concessionaires is preferred.
