About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide advice and prepare legal opinions on employment rights and obligations and applicable legislation.
  • Represent clients in employment lawsuits, including claims and defenses, before all levels of the Labor Courts.
  • Participate in hearings and deliver oral arguments.
  • Represent clients in administrative proceedings before the Ministry of Labor and the Public Labor Prosecutor’s Office.
  • Negotiate and mediate judicial and out-of-court settlements.
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with employment laws and prevent legal risks.
  • Draft employment agreements, amendments, and internal policies.
  • Provide employment law training to teams and managers.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Law degree and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law, including the CLT, precedents, binding guidance, and case law.
  • Experience in employment-related judicial and administrative litigation.
  • Ability to draft pleadings, legal opinions, and contracts.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict mediation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills for effective representation at hearings.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing cases and deadlines.
  • Proactive approach and ability to work as part of a team.
