About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide legal advice and prepare opinions on employment rights and obligations and applicable legislation.
Represent clients in labor and employment litigation, including claims and defenses, before all levels of the Labor Courts.
Attend hearings and deliver oral arguments.
Represent clients in administrative proceedings before the Ministry of Labor and the Public Labor Prosecutor’s Office.
Negotiate and mediate judicial and out-of-court settlements.
Conduct audits to assess compliance with employment laws and prevent legal risks.
Draft employment contracts, amendments, and internal policies.
Provide labor and employment law training to teams and managers.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Law degree and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
In-depth knowledge of employment legislation, including the CLT, binding summaries, Orientações Jurisprudenciais (OJs), and case law.
Experience in labor and employment litigation and administrative proceedings.
Ability to draft pleadings, legal opinions, and employment contracts.
Strong negotiation and conflict mediation skills.
Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills for courtroom and hearing work.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing cases and deadlines.
Proactive, collaborative, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
