About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide urgent care medical services as a PRN Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Deliver excellent customer service to patients
- Evaluate and treat patients of all types
- Read basic x-rays of all body parts
- Perform laceration repair and wound care
- Provide initial ECG interpretation
- Interpret test results
- Urgently evaluate and treat potentially critically ill patients
- Arrange appropriate transport of critically ill patients to the closest Emergency Room Department
- Coordinate and deliver high-quality care collaboratively
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's Degree - Required
- Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) – Required
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification - Required
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Required
- Experience in Urgent Care or Family Medicine
- Ability to see all patient types
- Excellent diagnostic skills with strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Proficiency in reading basic x-rays of all body parts
- Proficiency in laceration repair/wound care
- Proficiency in initial ECG interpretation
- Proficiency in interpreting test results
- Ability to urgently evaluate and treat potentially critically ill patients and appropriately transport them to the closest Emergency Room Department
