About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Take responsibility for the successful delivery of the project portfolio, ensuring quality, costs, and timelines across all projects
  • Lead and further develop the Construction Management department, including warranty management
  • Proactively manage resources and capacity
  • Manage projects commercially and monitor budgets, cost estimates, risks, and project performance
  • Further develop processes, standards, and methodologies in Construction Management
  • Ensure efficient, high-quality project delivery
  • Foster collaboration with internal departments, clients, and external partners
  • Manage complex project situations
  • Further develop the service offering together with the Director of Development
  • Contribute to the costing and acquisition of new projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed degree in civil engineering, architecture, construction management, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in project management, construction supervision, or Construction Management
  • Extensive experience in new-build projects and/or the renovation and conversion of existing buildings
  • Several years of leadership experience in construction, planning, or real estate
  • Excellent knowledge of construction and contract law, particularly HOAI, VOB, and AHO
  • Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Confident handling of budgets, cost estimates, project controlling, and commercial project risks
  • Entrepreneurial, structured, and solution-oriented mindset and approach
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with strong decision-making abilities
