About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage ongoing financial accounting for the main entity
Record, code, and review business transactions
Resolve outstanding items and discrepancies
Execute payment runs and reconcile bank accounts
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
Perform and clearly document account reconciliations and closing preparations
Support the preparation of the annual financial statements in collaboration with internal and external contacts
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and implement practical solutions
Contribute to projects focused on the development and transformation of Finance and Accounting
Optimize and standardize processes and further develop them through digitalization, automation, and AI
Provide professional expertise during internal and external audits

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of professional experience in Finance and Accounting
Ideally, further qualification as a certified accountant or an equivalent qualification
Solid experience in ongoing financial accounting
Familiarity with payment processing, account reconciliations, and resolving outstanding items
Experience supporting monthly and annual closing activities
Structured, reliable, and independent working style
Willingness to actively coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
Interest in digitalization, automation, and new technologies in accounting
