About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drive programs and projects from planning and scope definition through testing, release, iteration, and go-to-market across all lifecycle phases
Own delivery plans and track deliverables for on-time, on-scope, and on-budget delivery
Serve as the single point of contact for software development, system and infrastructure integrations, certifications, quality assurance, and production deployment
Identify, track, and eliminate team impediments and process bottlenecks
Resolve and escalate cross-team issues and blockers before they affect schedules
Coordinate across engineering, product management, design, security, network, and business stakeholders
Align resources with delivery plans in collaboration with delivery leads and engineering managers
Work with clients, including C-level stakeholders, to define scope and requirements
Manage relationships with clients, partners, integrators, vendors, and internal teams
Establish communication plans and provide frequent stakeholder updates
Partner with project managers, delivery managers, scrum masters, and senior leaders on resource allocation, prioritization, refinement, and scheduling
Recommend internal process, policy, and quality improvements
Foster teamwork, collaboration, and proactive communication

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Management, MIS, Engineering or a related discipline
3-5+ years delivering software development and related IT projects across multi-faceted teams
Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent work streams across a program or major clients
Experience working with both enterprise-level clients and fast-moving agile projects
Experience interfacing with external and internal stakeholders, SMEs and C-level personnel
Experience translating business processes, architecture discussions and requirements into clear deliverables
Eagerness to learn the details of the platform, infrastructure, and services provided, technically and from a merchant’s perspective
Strong leadership, decision-making and problem-solving skills
Well organized, detail oriented and hands on
Ability to turn client issues and requests into clear deliverables and well-structured plans
Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Experience within the payments and/or financial services industry a plus
Experience with hands-on coding a plus
