About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage LinkedIn content and outreach, including drafting and scheduling posts, commenting on relevant posts, handling LinkedIn messages, and following up with prospects.
- Support media outreach by drafting pitches and press materials, tracking outreach, and following up with media contacts.
- Maintain the founder's weekly planning system, time-block their schedule, and keep priorities on track.
- Help recruit freelance contractors by posting roles, screening applicants, and scheduling interviews.
- Triage the inbox, prepare meeting briefs, and organize notes and follow-ups.
- Complete the hiring process, including a Loom introduction video, interviews, a work evaluation with a LinkedIn writing task, and a final client interview.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A background in marketing, communications, PR or advertising, through a degree or work experience. A marketing degree is a strong plus.
- At least 3 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Virtual Assistant or in a similar support role.
- Excellent written and spoken English (C1 or above).
- Strong writing skills and the ability to adapt to someone else's voice and tone.
- Experience managing calendars, inboxes and competing priorities.
- Experience managing LinkedIn or other social media for a founder or brand is a nice-to-have.
- Media relations or PR experience, such as pitching journalists or writing press releases, is a nice-to-have.
- Experience recruiting or coordinating freelancers is a nice-to-have.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, LinkedIn's post scheduler, Canva and a CRM such as HubSpot is a nice-to-have.
