About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Complete customer and supplier technical specifications and intake specifications with the bottling facility
- Manage packaging compliance submissions, including PRN and EPR data
- Complete customer approval questionnaires and supporting documentation
- Respond to HMRC traceability requests and maintain accurate records
- Lead monthly complaints meetings and manage supplier investigations, ensuring corrective and preventative actions are implemented
- Lead monthly non-conformance meetings and manage corrective action processes
- Coordinate internal audit activities, conduct audits and support the wider technical team
- Support bulk wine production by managing out-of-specification intake results
- Support NPD projects by managing technical requirements and label approvals for new wine launches
- Collect and analyse technical data to support KPI reporting and trending
- File and maintain new and existing trademarks
- Actively contribute to HACCP, TACCP and VACCP teams
- Respond to technical queries from internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience within food manufacturing in a technical, production or quality-focused role
- Experience in an analytical, investigative or data-driven environment
- Comfortable using multiple software platforms and cloud-based systems
- Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to data and processes
- Good Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across different teams
- Ability to take initiative and develop creative solutions to problems
- An interest in quality, food safety and continuous improvement
- Graduates with food science / technical background degrees considered
