About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own customer application support for the Cell and Gene Therapy (CGT) Technologies portfolio within the assigned territory
  • Maintain working knowledge of the CGT Technologies portfolio
  • Collect and assess customer unit operation requirements and design customized protocols with internal subject-matter experts
  • Plan and conduct pre-sale demonstrations at customer sites, including experimental design, logistics, execution, data collection, and communication of results
  • Lead post-sale implementations, training, protocol testing, data review, and optimization
  • Lead troubleshooting activities, coordinate technical analysis, review findings, and communicate conclusions and recommended actions
  • Provide ongoing application support and relationship development through regular customer engagement
  • Maintain knowledge of customers' manufacturing processes, product applications, implementation status, technical issues, and planned changes
  • Partner with the Account Executive role and cross-functional teams to achieve customer acquisition, utilization, retention, growth, and revenue objectives
  • Identify opportunities to increase product utilization, expand applications, introduce offerings, and support instrument placements
  • Document customer activities, protocols, product feedback, training, troubleshooting, technical decisions, and follow-up actions in company systems and CRM
  • Build customer relationships and collaborate with Business Development, Field Service, Technical Application Support, Quality, Marketing, Product Management, and other stakeholders
  • Represent the company at customer meetings, conferences, workshops, and business events
  • Travel as required to support customers and business objectives
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, or related scientific field
  • 3+ years of experience in Cell and Gene Therapy, biotechnology, biopharmaceutical manufacturing, medical devices, or a related field
  • Hands-on cell culture, cell processing, or cell therapy manufacturing experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable delivering customer training, product demonstrations, technical presentations, and public speaking engagements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
  • Effective ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States
  • Fresenius Kabi is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa now or in the future
