About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead, manage, and develop PM professionals through direct engagement, coaching and development
Manage the entire project portfolio strategic planning process for IT-related business projects
Collect, analyze, simulate, and mitigate portfolio constraints
Define and maintain portfolio KPIs and drive improvement strategies
Guide IT project resource planning, reporting, portfolio road mapping, prioritization, and budgeting
Manage adherence to, maintenance of, and enhancements to PPM tools
Establish, maintain, and refine project and program methodology for IT initiative delivery
Provide visibility into technology portfolio performance and support the strategic annual investment process
Track business submissions, decisions, and outcomes for internal reporting and audit tracking
Drive governance decisions, visibility, and status with business and IT leaders
Direct and manage compliance resources
Lead adoption and continuous improvement of IT project management operations, including cost tracking
Improve project metrics and feedback measurements
Oversee multiple projects from initiation to completion
Share lessons learned and best practices across programs and build stakeholder relationships

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field required
10+ years of Project Management experience in a technology-based environment
Project Management Institute (PMI) certification preferred
Strong experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, Visio and SharePoint
Ability to operate effectively in a collaborative/teamwork environment
Effective communication skills with all levels of the organization
