About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Sell ultrasound imaging systems, options and service contracts to prospective and existing customers in the assigned territory
  • Work with Regional Managers to develop calling strategies maximizing territory coverage and sales
  • Prospect new customers and hospital and private outpatient relationships
  • Maintain close relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and cross-sell products and options
  • Work with Hospital Relations Manager, National and Government Accounts to develop hospital relationships and selling strategies within hospital chains, IDNs, GPOs, VA and Military Centers
  • Work with Sales Administration to generate quotes for new equipment and option sales
  • Conduct product demonstrations and clinical presentations with Product Managers
  • Develop business plans and market assessments with Ultrasound Marketing
  • Continuously develop product knowledge and technical skills for Fujifilm ultrasound products and services
  • Provide feedback on competitive products, pricing and market trends
  • Report account contacts for active accounts and prospects in the CRM system
  • Assist with accounts receivable collection, service contract renewals and product performance issue resolution
  • Remain current on industry trends and developments
  • Attend RSNA and other industry trade shows and conventions to develop sales leads and relationships
  • Comply with U.S. FDA medical device, ISO 13485 and other applicable requirements
  • Travel frequently, up to 75%, based on business needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years previous sales experience in the hospital market, preferably selling diagnostic imaging equipment or related peripheral devices into the surgical space
  • RDMS desired
  • BA/BS in Business, Marketing, Communication, Life Sciences or related field required
  • Strong ability to sell products based upon customer need
  • Excellent sales presentation skills
  • Strong ability to overcome customer objections and concerns
  • Ability to quickly learn new products and services
  • Strong ability to communicate at all levels, including C-Level, Radiology Managers, Radiologists and Technicians
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong ability to develop long-term business relationships and strong listening skills
  • Ability to interact with other departments to support customer service
  • Strong ability to structure sales meeting customer requirements, including product specifications and price
  • Ability to resolve problems in a timely, efficient and complete manner
  • Ability to manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to organize work, self and support staff
  • Strong desire to succeed and ability to work with support staff to encourage teamwork and customer service
  • Ability to monitor and maintain call tracking, order tracking and business expense reports
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel extensively within an assigned geographic territory
  • Access to a late model automobile for business use
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record required
  • Ability to safely drive a full-size commercial van
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds unassisted into an Ultrasound van
  • Ability to push/pull ultrasound systems weighing up to 350 pounds on casters
  • Manual dexterity to operate iPad/PC systems
  • Ability to use personal, public and air transportation as needed
  • Compliance with vendor credentialing requirements and applicable regulations and standards
