About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the entire sales administration process
- Solicit sales over the telephone and develop leads
- Generate leads, advance the sales process, and transfer warm leads/new business to the Sales team
- Research accounts and cultivate leads through telephone, email, or webinar
- Acquire additional revenue based on regional needs
- Interface with administrative and sales stakeholders
- Communicate with customers through outbound calls and follow up on external-source leads
- Source sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound cold calls, and emails
- Research and identify potential accounts
- Answer customer questions using product knowledge and send product information and collateral
- Use digital technology platforms and data to analyze territory and target accounts
- Manage the sales pipeline through a CRM platform
- Present assigned product portfolio features, benefits, and value to clinical and economic call points using situational sales methodology
- Identify qualified opportunities and provide resources for further development and closure
- Develop leads and referrals through the sales process to achieve quarterly quotas
- Research accounts and identify key stakeholders
- Maintain and expand the database of prospects and current relationships within assigned territories
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and work history
- Minimum two years documented sales success or equivalent experience, preferably in business-to-business products
- Experience with a medical sales approach preferred
- Strong Salesforce.com skillset
- Strong oral and written communication abilities
- Process management and organizational ability
- Knowledge of the medical supplies/device business and healthcare environment
- Must comply with facility vendor credentialing requirements, including vaccine requirements where applicable
