About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage all aspects of Fujifilm’s bronchoscope and endobronchial ultrasound portfolios
- Work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, sales, field personnel, R&D, operations, regulatory, and marketing
- Develop and drive 3–5 year strategic plans covering product portfolio, commercialization, marketing, clinical, financial forecasting, and supply chain
- Develop synergistic devices and strategic partnerships to broaden adoption and market share
- Lead market assessment, commercialization, and product lifecycle activities from strategic assessment through retirement
- Support product launches, demonstrations, and subject-matter-expert activities
- Develop and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders through presentations, site visits, shows, conferences, inquiries, and product evaluations
- Support sales teams with clinical demonstrations and tactical adoption plans
- Serve as clinical, technical, and market subject-matter expert for products, services, competitors, and industry trends
- Lead future pipeline discussions and suggest product improvements and innovation
- Share best practices with global marketing and R&D teams
- Manage field initiatives with sales leadership, business development, clinical specialists, and field service engineers
- Lead pulmonary portfolio trade show participation, including objectives, booth and equipment requirements, workshops, and event execution
- Provide technical resources and solutions to healthcare professionals and internal staff
- Lead training on product operations, reprocessing, and manufacturer requirements
- Create product evaluation protocols, manage site selection and evaluation deliverables, and summarize results for global headquarters
- Develop clinical and white-paper strategies to drive adoption and recognition of Fujifilm technology
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA/BS degree is required, preferably with a degree related to healthcare, biology, or business, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 7 years’ work experience in a marketing capacity
- Minimum 5 years of medical device experience with strong clinical background
- Prior experience with endoscopes and/or pulmonology/endobronchial ultrasound preferred
- Experience leading new product trainings covering technology, disease state, clinical, and economic messaging
- Ability to work independently and in a close team environment
- Proficient in managing through influence
- Exceptional communication/interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient computer skills using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Effective time management skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret essential job-related documents
- Ability to present and speak effectively and professionally to internal and external customers
- Ability to calculate, balance, and analyze sales and marketing data; prepare detailed reports; and report data
- Ability to present and communicate in a multicultural environment
- Knowledge/familiarity with general, thoracic, and/or pulmonology-related products and procedures desired
- Knowledge of United States healthcare systems and dynamics desired
- Ability to sit 75–100% of applicable work time
- Ability to use hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards, up to 100% of applicable work time
- Ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds up to 10% of applicable work time
- Close vision at 20 inches or less
- Availability to frequently travel, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to travel up to 60% of the time, largely domestic with some international travel
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to comply with applicable facility credentialing and COVID-19 testing/face-covering requirements
