About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Follow standard operating procedures for operating equipment and performing tasks
  • Judge the quality of raw materials and finished products based on company standards and product specifications
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding nonconforming products and request/follow up on root cause analysis and countermeasures under QA Engineer or Manager supervision
  • Maintain repair and calibration of test and measurement equipment per ISO quality requirements
  • Support the QA Engineer and Manager with customer complaints and existing/new product development
  • Communicate evaluation results to production personnel in a timely manner
  • Generate reports and maintain hard-copy/electronic evaluation records and charts
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the supervisor
  • Assist the factory in meeting OSHA, EHS, Federal, and State regulations for waste disposal

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 6 months working in a manufacturing process or equivalent experience
  • Must meet the physical demands list
  • Usually requires working a 10-hour day shift
  • Detail oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to pass required safety training such as lockout tagout, hazard communication, ISO, etc.
  • Basic computer skills, such as e-mail, Word, and Excel
  • Effectively works with others within the team to achieve team goals
  • Effectively communicates with co-workers and supervisor
  • Attention to detail through accuracy and completeness of information
