About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prospect, develop, and close Radiology Medical Informatics business through scheduled customer calls and meetings
- Meet and exceed quarterly bookings and revenue objectives through effective sales strategies
- Achieve the assigned Business Unit sales budget by focusing on replacement PACS, Synapse Information sales, installed-base opportunities, and Enterprise offerings
- Address radiologist and cardiologist needs as a primary sales objective
- Collaborate with healthcare product and service teams on solution selling, new accounts, installed-base opportunities, and portfolio expansion
- Partner with Medical Informatics Marketing, Solutions Delivery and Support, Modality Solutions Sales, and Service Management
- Understand and use Medical Informatics product messaging to drive sales strategies and market-share growth
- Develop accurate monthly bookings and revenue forecasts
- Maintain an active qualified opportunity pipeline of $15M or greater
- Lead the sales process for qualified opportunities in the designated geography and coordinate all selling activities
- Qualify and follow up on leads from tradeshows, RFPs, Account Executives, and Inside Sales
- Develop and communicate market intelligence to management and recommend portfolio improvements
- Drive superior customer experiences
- Follow Quote to Order/Booking processes, Grants of Authority, and established policies and procedures
- Provide accurate booking documents for Sales and Marketing Operations and Order to Remittance processes
- Maintain accurate CRM records for opportunities, accounts, activities, quotes, contacts, assets, and reporting
- Achieve sales quota, revenue goals, and accurate monthly and quarterly forecasts
- Contribute to sales strategy, cross-functional collaboration, corporate strategy, and team communication
- Manage demonstrations of PACS, Cardiovascular, and RIS within the sales process
- Comply with applicable medical-device regulatory, ISO, and legal requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA/BS/MA, with 5+ years of progressive experience in Medical Informatics Sales in a Healthcare / Medical Imaging / IT organization
- Broad functional expertise in sales, including establishing customer relationships, sales presentations, strategic selling, and developing effective value proposition strategies
- Ability to work cross-functionally and create business impact
- Ability to problem solve, analyze, and resolve issues at strategic and tactical levels
- Strong customer orientation
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales performance
- Strong presentation, written, and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a diverse range of individuals
- Good judgment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to anticipate the need for proactive communication and planning at all levels
- Ability to travel 50% of the time, including time in the field and at corporate offices
- Ability to comply with and pass vendor credentialing requirements for access to hospitals and facilities
- Ability to comply with applicable U.S. FDA medical device regulatory requirements, ISO 13485 requirements, and other applicable laws, regulations, and standards
- Physical ability to sit 75–100% of applicable work time; use hands and fingers up to 100%; stand, talk, and hear for 75%; lift and carry up to 10 pounds for up to 20% of applicable work time; close vision at 20 inches or less
