About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute integrated employee communication strategies aligned with business objectives, corporate communications strategy, company culture, and organizational priorities
  • Partner with senior leaders and functional teams to create clear, timely, and engaging employee communications
  • Create and manage communications across email, intranet, digital platforms, employee meetings, town halls, videos, newsletters, presentations, and leadership communications
  • Develop executive communications, including talking points, leadership messages, presentations, town hall materials, and employee announcements
  • Translate complex business information into concise, accessible, and compelling communications
  • Support communications for organizational change, business transformation, culture, employee engagement, and significant company initiatives
  • Establish communication plans, timelines, audiences, messages, and channels for major initiatives
  • Monitor employee feedback and engagement trends and recommend communications strategies
  • Develop and implement community engagement strategies supporting corporate citizenship and community investment priorities
  • Partner with business leaders, employees, nonprofit organizations, and community partners to identify engagement opportunities
  • Lead communications supporting volunteerism, charitable giving, employee-led community initiatives, and corporate social responsibility programs
  • Develop stories and content demonstrating the company’s impact in local communities
  • Coordinate community events, employee volunteer activities, and engagement campaigns
  • Build internal and external stakeholder relationships to increase participation in community initiatives
  • Measure and communicate the impact of community engagement programs
  • Develop employee and community stories reinforcing company values, culture, Purpose, and business priorities
  • Write and edit articles, newsletters, executive messages, presentations, social content, videos, and other communications materials
  • Identify stories for internal and external channels across FUJIFILM Americas and global amplification
  • Ensure communications align with brand, voice, tone, and communication standards
  • Collaborate with social media, digital, HR, and external agency partners
  • Serve as a strategic communications advisor to leaders and cross-functional partners
  • Counsel stakeholders on communication strategy, audience considerations, timing, messaging, and delivery
  • Provide communications support during organizational changes, business milestones, and high-priority initiatives
  • Manage multiple projects while maintaining quality, accuracy, and deadlines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
  • 10-12+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, employee communications, public relations, community engagement, or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing employee communication strategies
  • Excellent writing, editing, presentation, and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working directly with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a complex, matrixed organization
  • Experience developing communications for multiple audiences and communication channels
  • Preferred: experience in a global or large corporate environment
  • Preferred: experience supporting organizational change and employee engagement initiatives
  • Preferred: experience with community relations, corporate social responsibility, employee volunteerism, or charitable giving programs
  • Preferred: experience with executive communications
  • Preferred: experience with internal digital communications platforms, intranets, employee apps, or collaboration tools
  • Preferred: experience using employee engagement data, surveys, analytics, or other measures to inform communications strategy
  • Communications agency experience is a plus
