About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own strategy and execution for three to five paid search accounts with monthly spend ranging from $1K to $40K
  • Manage Google Ads and Microsoft Ads campaigns
  • Produce weekly per-account performance write-ups in .docx format
  • Prepare monthly client-ready summaries
  • Conduct ad-hoc deep dives when campaigns underperform or opportunities arise
  • Communicate directly with clients through written updates, review calls, and occasional strategy presentations
  • Manage account structure, Smart Bidding strategy and target calibration, Performance Max asset groups and signal feeding, search term mining, negative list management, ad copy, feed audits, and landing page feedback
  • Reconcile discrepancies between Triple Whale and GA4 and defend a working figure in reports
  • Surface proactive opportunities including branded budget unlocks, Performance Max channel shifts, Demand Gen tests, and geographic or bidding migrations
  • Work across medical aesthetics device manufacturers, DTC eCommerce brands, regulated retail, service-business lead generation, and B2B SaaS accounts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years managing paid search at an agency
  • At least one role independently owning client relationships
  • Strong command of Google Ads: Search, Shopping, Performance Max, and Demand Gen
  • Strong command of Microsoft Ads
  • Non-negotiable fluency in Smart Bidding
  • Demonstrated experience across both lead generation and eCommerce
  • Comfort with GA4, platform-reported conversions, cross-source reconciliation, and post-click pixel tools such as Triple Whale or Northbeam
  • Track record of remote work and strong written communication
  • Ability to read or write Python for Google Ads API integrations, JSON parsing, GAQL queries, and terminal work, or experience shipping real automations with Claude Code or Cursor
  • Daily workflow experience using Claude Code, Cursor, or a comparable agentic tool for shipping work
  • Ability to explain Smart Bidding and Performance Max decisions clearly to CMOs and other senior stakeholders
  • Current knowledge of Smart Bidding, Performance Max, AI-generated assets, and Demand Gen
  • Disciplined analytical writing with exact numbers and claims labeled as extracted, inferred, or assumed
  • Willingness to work US-preferred timezone overlap
