About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review financial accounts, bank statements and risk reports to process loan applications
  • Complete know your customer (KYC) checks during borrowers’ onboarding
  • Refer cases to AML and Fraud teams where required
  • Use third-party systems to collect information about applicants and their businesses
  • Perform quality assurance by reconciling loan documents and internal system data for completeness and accuracy
  • Work collaboratively within the team
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, issues and control weaknesses

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 6 months experience in a high volume operations or administrative role
  • Ability to work to deadlines and business goals in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Self motivation
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to follow procedures
  • Ability to complete repetitive tasks
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving policies and procedures
  • Familiarity with financial documents, bank statements and identification documents would be beneficial but is not essential
  • Ability to identify ways to use Generative AI to streamline daily tasks and improve productivity
  • Confidence using approved AI tools safely and effectively
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
