About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead Funding Circle’s Salesforce Platform team within the Platform Capabilities engineering group
- Manage Salesforce successfully across the organization
- Define and execute a prioritized Salesforce platform roadmap aligned with business and technology objectives
- Improve the team’s product development maturity
- Help achieve engineering excellence and progress toward the target architecture
- Build a collaborative and inclusive team environment
- Empower engineers to excel and maintain an engaged, high-performing team
- Facilitate communication and resolve conflicts constructively
- Prioritize work, plan capacity, and ensure timely delivery
- Implement engineering processes and promote strategic technology adoption
- Establish clear policies supporting sustained growth
- Identify and realize value from AI across the SDLC and PDLC
- Represent Funding Circle at industry events and contribute to brand and community growth
- Build partnerships with business stakeholders and share ownership of successful outcomes
- Mentor and educate stakeholders and engineers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Understanding of Salesforce’s strengths and weaknesses and where to use it effectively
- Passion for modern software development principles, including AI-native development, rapid feedback and iteration, and engineering productivity measured through metrics
- Prior or current experience in engineering management
- Ability to have difficult conversations
- Ability to embody Funding Circle’s values and positively impact and lead a close team
- Eligibility to work in the UK
