About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and maintain subscription, renewal, and credit-ledger machinery in the payments service
Own the flow from APIs through checkout and account UIs, including multi-offer screens, credit displays, and payment steps
Ensure payment transaction events are correct and webhook reliability supports medication release
Build automated test coverage for payment logic and edge cases such as partial credits, multi-cycle renewals, and plan changes
Partner directly with the Medical team on titration, refills, and plan changes
Work across backend and frontend systems to connect payment calculations with patient-facing experiences

Requirements

What you’ll need

Equally comfortable in a Go service and a React/React Native screen
Experience writing automated tests alongside code
Understanding of financial correctness and payment edge cases
Proactive ownership, root-cause analysis, and navigating ambiguity
Generalist mindset across backend and frontend engineering
Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools
Backend technologies: Go, Temporal, Google Cloud Functions (TypeScript), Postgres
Frontend technologies: React, React Native
Infrastructure and observability technologies: GCP, Datadog
