About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Facilitate discovery sessions and workshops with business stakeholders, product owners, and executive sponsors
- Elicit functional needs and uncover business requirements
- Translate business requirements into process flow diagrams, user stories, acceptance criteria, wireframes, and technical documentation
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog with Project Managers and Solution Architects using Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Design future-state business processes and perform gap analyses
- Determine whether Salesforce can address business pain points natively or through customization
- Own the User Acceptance Testing phase, including test scripts, business-user coordination, and defect triage
- Develop training materials and conduct end-user enablement sessions
- Collaborate with developers and QA teams during build and sprint cycles
- Guide Salesforce features from discovery through successful UAT
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4 to 8 years of total experience
- 4+ years of dedicated business analysis experience within the Salesforce ecosystem
- 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce configuration
- At least 3+ dedicated years implementing Salesforce CPQ and Billing
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce declarative tools, including Flows and Custom Objects
- Technical scripting knowledge in JavaScript and Apex
- Deep understanding of subscription billing models, revenue scheduling, invoicing rules, and tax calculation integrations such as Avalara
- Strong proficiency in business process mapping tools such as Lucidchart, Miro, and Visio
- Proficiency in Agile management software such as Jira and Confluence
- Deep understanding of Salesforce clouds, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Experience Cloud
- Mandatory Salesforce Certified Business Analyst certification
- Mandatory Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification
- Preferred Salesforce Platform Developer I or Salesforce Certified Administrator certification
- Preferred Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder certification
- Prior consulting or enterprise experience with multi-currency, multi-entity global CPQ and Billing deployments preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority
