About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Reach monthly sales targets while driving exceptional customer service KPIs
- Work with speed and efficiency while consistently displaying compassion and care in every interaction
- Handle booking issues calmly and with empathy
- Differentiate service to provide a uniquely G experience for travellers
- Connect with prospective travellers over the phone and via email
- Ask questions to ascertain each traveller’s needs
- Recommend and sell the right trip, including extra services that may enhance the experience
- Ensure correct booking processes and procedures to minimise risk and reduce error rates
- Provide a life-changing experience
- Contribute to G Adventures’ company culture and live by its Core Values
- Build meaningful connections with the global team and travellers
- Work on a rotation with occasional weekend work
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 1 year front-line sales experience, motivated by revenue targets and service KPIs
- Fluent in both German & English, both written and verbal
- A love of sales and travel
- Experience using a GDS system, preferable but not necessary
- Superior selling skills & exceptional customer service skills are required
- Problem solving/complaint resolution skills
- Extensive geographical knowledge & travel experience
- Flexible and energetic, with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to work varying shifts and weekends as required
- Ability to navigate and use a variety of computer systems confidently with speed and efficiency
- Understanding of, and identification with, G Adventures’ Core Values
