About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Confirm and settle derivative trades accurately and within agreed deadlines, in line with internal and group operating procedures
- Develop a working knowledge of the full product range through cross-training, with particular emphasis on FX derivatives
- Raise potential operational issues promptly with team leadership and help drive them through to resolution
- Work within the firm’s quality and control standards at all times
- Review existing processes and put forward ideas for improvement
- Communicate clearly and efficiently with colleagues and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing
- Support the wider team with ad-hoc tasks as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Some exposure to an operations, finance or office-based environment is beneficial, though not essential
- Strong numerical and analytical ability
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Well organised, with good time management and attention to detail
- Confident user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
