About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain the general ledger
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Manage month-end close activities, including accruals, prepayments, and journals
  • Perform expense variance analysis and resolve reconciliation issues
  • Support cash flow and treasury management
  • Prepare intercompany and recurring journals
  • Submit VAT and P11D returns
  • Run monthly payroll and process expenses
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, audits, and tax pack preparation
  • Provide ad-hoc management reporting and financial analysis
  • Continually develop reporting solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Accounting experience, ideally within the Lloyd’s/London Market
  • Strong management accounts experience
  • Good understanding of month-end and financial reporting processes
  • Strong reconciliation and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a part-time capacity
