About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own product at GaggleAMP, ensuring shipped features make customers’ jobs easier and demonstrate measurable organizational value
- Review recorded customer calls and develop knowledge of customer pains and language patterns
- Meet with developers, engineering, customer success, the CEO, and CS team members
- Apply product principles, persona documentation, brand guidance, and go-to-market materials
- Audit the product backlog and form prioritization opinions
- Scope product optimizations from usage data through defined solutions and engineering handoff
- Produce written first-impressions documentation for leadership
- Scope, design, and hand off meaningful new work with engineering buy-in
- Own and run weekly product/design reviews
- Develop quarterly roadmap proposals covering new capabilities, existing-flow optimizations, and usability-affecting infrastructure
- Establish a customer conversation cadence of at least two live customer calls per month
- Make defensible feature prioritization decisions, including declining requests when warranted
- Partner closely with engineering on continuous shipping and engage directly with the CEO on product strategy
- Own product end-to-end, including customer conversations, strategic decisions, UI influence, user stories, and shipping
Requirements
What you’ll need- Five-plus years in product management, with a track record of owning products end-to-end, from discovery through engineering handoff
- Track record of shipping at a small company or as a founding product hire
- Comfortable working solo as the product function, with strong cross-functional partnership
- Fluent and thoughtful use of AI tools in your workflow
- Comfort partnering with design tools such as Figma is a plus, not required
