About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Achieve or exceed Galderma portfolio sales and execute strategic objectives across high-valued customers
  • Promote Galderma’s prescription dermatology biologic and consumer product portfolio
  • Acquire and maintain expertise in brand and segment strategy and tactics
  • Provide expert product knowledge and promote demand for Rx products, including launching new products
  • Execute integrated commercial selling strategies using knowledge of contracting and access platforms
  • Apply market and industry insight
  • Lead cross-functional account plans to drive portfolio penetration, retention, and growth for key accounts
  • Analyze account and provider objectives to align market/patient access and field reimbursement functions
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and use business analytics and customer insights to anticipate needs
  • Oversee relationships with Key Opinion Leaders within the area
  • Execute customer engagement initiatives to strengthen strategic partnerships
  • Serve as liaison and primary contact for assigned contacts in Galderma’s commercial speaker bureau
  • Plan, organize, and execute field-based activities in accordance with company and regulatory standards
  • Travel regularly and perform work across customer sites, healthcare settings, conferences, and company locations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, required
  • Five (5) or more years of outside sales experience with variable commission potential, required
  • 2+ years of Pharmaceutical Sales experience in Dermatological or Medical Sales required
  • Previous account management experience
  • Previous business to business sales experience
  • Prior experience as a Sales “generalist”; not limited to specific product or portfolio
  • Strong track record of consistent documented performance success
  • Strong business acumen including excellent communication: verbal, written, interpersonal skills, and persuasive skills
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical, industry and product-related information in a professional, consultative manner
  • High level of integrity, personal motivation, and sense of urgency
  • Ability to sell assertively and differentiate products and offerings to increase utilization with target accounts and high value providers
  • Ability to collaborate with internal customers and functions such as market and patient access and field reimbursement
  • Ability to demonstrate a strong ownership of book of business
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Disciplined self-starter, comfortable with autonomy
  • Ability to demonstrate strategic thinking with a long-term vision
  • Skilled at both relationship management and closing ability with customers; ability to flex techniques and style to various audiences
