About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and facilitate new hire, advanced, and ongoing sales training programs for field representatives and district managers
  • Create in-person, virtual, and blended learning solutions using adult learning principles and innovative instructional methods
  • Develop content for product launches, national plan of action meetings, disease state education, and competitive differentiation
  • Develop and lead virtual and instructor-led training across multiple digital platforms
  • Conduct field visits to observe, coach, and provide actionable feedback to sales representatives
  • Partner with sales leadership to identify performance gaps and deliver targeted training interventions
  • Coach and prepare trainers and/or Regional Sales Managers who assist during training classes
  • Assist with development of Senior Account Managers and Account Managers
  • Collaborate with Marketing to translate brand strategy into field-ready training content
  • Work with Medical Affairs and Regulatory to ensure scientific accuracy and compliance
  • Align sales training with Market Access and patient support services
  • Work with external vendors to identify and implement training technologies
  • Measure training effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Track KPIs to support continuous improvement and demonstrate business impact
  • Create, manage, and assign learning curriculum in the LMS environment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Education, or related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years in pharmaceutical, biotech, or dermatology sales
  • Minimum 1–3 years of sales training, learning & development, or field trainer experience
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and oral communication
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including PowerPoint
  • Proficiency with current training equipment, software, and materials
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 20–40%
  • Experience supporting product launches and brand training preferred
  • Familiarity with dermatology therapeutic areas and biologic product categories preferred
  • CRM knowledge, including Veeva and Salesforce, preferred
  • Comprehension of adult learning principles, methods, and social persuasion techniques preferred
  • Experience designing and executing training and leadership programs preferred
