About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with Gartner's Services leaders to define growth needs and design territories aligned with corporate services strategy and guidelines
Analyze internal and external data to identify trends and characterize market opportunities across regions, industries, local areas, and companies
Provide Services managers and leaders with detailed territory descriptions for team communication and planning
Own high-complexity analytical projects involving territory and retention data to advise senior services leaders on maximizing revenue and margin
Run annual and monthly processes to identify efficiency and growth opportunities and help Services leaders achieve retention targets
Model potential scenarios involving allocation of Services professionals, current clients, and prospects
Conduct custom data analyses to inform decisions by Services leaders and C-level executives
Support one or more Services regions independently in collaboration with TP&A managers and leaders
Establish and share best practices for creating and optimizing Services territories

Requirements

What you’ll need

1+ years of management consulting or analytics experience required
Exceptional analytical skills
High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and databases
Experience running regression analysis
Experience modeling scenarios
Experience testing hypotheses
Ability to work with non-conforming data sets
Ability to generate analytical insights
Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills
PowerBI experience required
SQL and Python preferred
Ability to form relationships with and influence senior leaders
Ability to deal with ambiguity and independently own projects from start to finish
