About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support execution of global IT communications plans
- Help manage a tactical editorial calendar covering compulsory activities, new initiatives, and ongoing activities
- Prioritize and simplify content to deliver the right information to the right people at the right time
- Ensure associates can access critical tools and resources for compulsory activities
- Communicate new initiatives affecting functionality for the rest of the business
- Develop compelling content focused on associate engagement
- Manage the IT Communications mailbox and route associate intranet comments to the appropriate responder
- Own routine tactical communications, including monthly mobile updates
- Own the IT-to-IT event calendar and monthly IT newsletter
- Manage applicable content reviews
- Publish articles, recordings, polls, and other content on the IT intranet page
- Manage an All IT Teams Channel calendar
- Optimize IT content for search
- Measure IT communications and change management success through monthly metrics
- Partner with the VP of IT Communications on projects and presentations
- Document best practices to improve efficiency and scalability
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required
- 1+ years’ experience in an internal communications function, preferably in a large corporation
- Ability to function as an individual contributor
- Self-starter
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Self-motivation to continuously improve
- Exceptional collaboration skills
