About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to SVPs, EVPs, and Chief Supply Chain Officers within Global 1000 organizations and government agencies
  • Identify critical priorities, drive key initiatives, and achieve strategic business objectives
  • Advise on strategy, organizational transformation, leadership development, and execution using Gartner insights and best practices
  • Manage 25–30 member relationships
  • Participate in account planning with Gartner Leadership Client Managers and Account Executives
  • Help members achieve Mission Critical Priorities by leveraging appropriate Gartner assets
  • Create service solutions for members and multi-member accounts using subject matter expertise
  • Assess member needs and develop customized engagement plans aligned with product strategy and deliverables
  • Define and deliver on-site client briefings supporting key initiatives
  • Participate in all member lifecycle phases: pre-sale, onboarding, relationship management, delivery, review, and renewal
  • Support member retention and regional growth through prospect cultivation, account plan development, and value demonstration
  • Host and/or participate in onsite member activities, workshops, research analyst visits, round tables, and webinars
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams
  • Share ideas and undertake initiatives to improve team performance
  • Travel 25% and upwards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 15+ years of operational or consulting experience in supply chain / operations management, and/or supply chain systems and solutions
  • 10+ years of experience globally heading 2 or more functions: plan, source, make, deliver, business systems
  • Last 7+ years leading high-tech industries’ supply chains
  • Experience with strategy development, organization design, initiative management, application of metrics, and understanding of major industry trends
  • Experience launching new products and services as part of a supply chain function
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, and challenging senior-level leaders
  • Superior verbal and written communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • University graduate in engineering or business administration
  • Ability to build trust and deliver value with executive-level clients
  • Innate curiosity and ability to ask level 2/level 3 questions
  • Critical thinking and analytical ability with practical, actionable advice
  • Entrepreneurial drive to engage and retain clients
  • Strong time and client portfolio management skills
  • Ability to lead and manage ambiguous situations
  • Ability to work with minimal administrative support
  • Ability to collaborate with internal cross-functional teams
  • Certifications in supply chain preferred
  • Master’s degree preferred
