About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Evolve the Benefits, Compensation, and Time and Absence technology portfolio and roadmap
  • Partner with HRIS leadership, HR business owners, and stakeholders across the business
  • Maintain relationships with key business partners for issue resolution and enhancements
  • Drive and maintain Workday Benefits, Compensation, and Time and Absence capabilities
  • Own and execute Workday system administration, including configuration, business processes, security and compliance, notifications, auditing, and data quality management
  • Drive vendor-led releases and system enhancements, including configuration and development of new features
  • Deploy enhancements and create and execute test plans, user acceptance testing, and regression testing
  • Support operational excellence and continuous process improvement in systems of record
  • Apply project management principles to longer-term initiatives
  • Manage bug and issue resolution through root cause analysis, impact analysis, solution design, implementation, testing, and deployment
  • Support Reporting and Analytics with report and dashboard requirements gathering, design, and testing
  • Configure, test, and process mass data loads via Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
  • Support compliance enablement through HRIS systems and processes
  • Execute quality assurance efforts to ensure data and information accuracy
  • Participate in requirements gathering with functional subject matter experts, IT, and users
  • Support end-user requests and escalations and develop knowledge management materials for training and education

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience configuring and managing Workday HCM and other HR systems
  • Experience with business processes, data structure, domain and BP security, EIBs, reporting and calculated fields, and data auditing
  • Experience in other areas of Workday is a plus, including position management, talent/performance, compensation, benefits, absence, and time tracking
  • Knowledge of HR business processes
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience developing reports and calculated fields in Workday
  • Strong service orientation with a high sense of ownership and accountability
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong work ethic and motivation to achieve goals and exceed expectations
  • Exceptional time management skills and ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines
  • Systems thinking, process orientation, and significant attention to detail
  • Superior interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • High level of executive presence
  • Change management experience preferred
