About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of human-centric cyber risks, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors
  • Design, implement, and manage Data Loss Prevention strategies and controls
  • Monitor DLP alerts, investigate incidents, and recommend remediation steps
  • Develop and implement insider-risk detection, analysis, and mitigation programs
  • Monitor user behavior and collaborate with HR and Legal on incident response
  • Track attack vectors, trends, and threat-actor techniques targeting human vulnerabilities
  • Advocate for information security best practices concerning human behavior and data handling
  • Configure, monitor, and optimize security tools relevant to human cyber risk
  • Support investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery during security incidents
  • Contribute to security awareness training programs
  • Generate reports on human cyber risk posture, incident metrics, and security-control effectiveness
  • Maintain accurate security-process documentation
  • Collaborate with IT Operations, Legal, HR, and security teams
  • Present security risk findings to leadership
  • Mentor junior-level analysts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • 5-7 years of hands-on experience in Information Security, focused on human cyber risk, data loss prevention, and insider threat
  • Strong understanding of information security best practices, NIST, ISO 27001, and regulatory requirements
  • In-depth knowledge of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) principles, technologies, and implementation strategies
  • Proven experience with Insider Risk Management methodologies and tools
  • Familiarity with phishing, social engineering, business email compromise (BEC), and malware delivery attack vectors
  • Hands-on experience with DLP and Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) platforms
  • Experience with Email Security platforms and Endpoint Protection tools, including device control, USB policy enforcement, and local storage monitoring
  • Proficiency analyzing data security telemetry across M365 Purview, Google Workspace, and OneDrive/SharePoint
  • Experience analyzing human risk indicators, insider threat telemetry, or security awareness campaign metrics
  • Understanding of Acceptable Use Policies (AUP) and risk-based exception workflows
  • Strong analytical skills, data security alert investigation, root-cause analysis, and employee risk profile evaluation
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for security remediations and presenting risk insights to HR, Legal, and IT leadership
  • Ability to manage independent investigations while collaborating across a global security organization
  • Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GSEC, Security+, or SSAP are nice to have
