About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead customer discovery sessions, technical workshops, assessments, and security roadmap discussions
- Design secure network, data center, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure architectures
- Apply expertise across firewalls, perimeter security, intrusion prevention, security monitoring and SIEM, vulnerability management, IAM, risk management, and secure network architecture
- Develop Cisco-focused security recommendations, solution designs, bills of material, demonstrations, and technical RFP responses
- Support Cisco security sales motions, including secure networking, next-generation firewall refresh, SASE, and security for AI and data center environments
- Partner with Cisco sellers and Systems Engineers to build qualified pipeline, improve technical win rates, and support customer adoption
- Translate technical recommendations into business value, risk reduction, and operational outcomes
- Contribute to project scoping, statements of work, customer presentations, and handoff to delivery teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong experience designing enterprise network security and infrastructure solutions
- Customer-facing experience in technical discovery, solution design, presentations, and solution selling
- Working knowledge of Cisco security and secure networking technologies
- Ability to align Cisco capabilities to data center and AI requirements
- Experience with firewalls, IPS, SIEM, vulnerability management, IAM, cloud and hybrid security, SASE, and security policy development
- Strong written and verbal communication, technical writing, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience with NIST, ISO, PCI-DSS, or similar security and compliance frameworks is helpful
- Cisco CCNP Security preferred
- CCIE Security or comparable security certifications are a plus
