  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development
  • Manage and organize tools, test equipment, and spare parts inventory
  • Provide service on-site at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent military training
  • 4–8 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of biomedical equipment, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Basic understanding of electronics, electrical safety, and biomedical equipment principles
  • Proficiency using basic hand tools and test equipment, including multimeters and oscilloscopes
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Valid driver's license may be required for travel to various client sites
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of GEHC's standard background check, including a post-offer drug test
  • Compliance with customer access policies, including required immunizations and additional drug tests or background checks when applicable
