About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the preparation process for GEHC earnings, including the IR script, backup materials, and earnings Q&A
  • Partner with the PCS Lean Leader to drive PCS Segment Operating Reviews and close reviews
  • Prepare GEHC CEO/CFO monthly operating review materials for PCS
  • Lead the three-year long-term strategy and financial plan for organic growth, margin, and cash
  • Build detailed analyses and supporting materials for financial reviews
  • Lead the annual PCS segment budget process, coordinating with regions and product P&Ls on growth targets
  • Lead investment and capital allocation decision-making
  • Support PCS sub-segment Finance teams with centralized reporting capabilities
  • Improve reporting processes through automation
  • Analyze competitor and customer data to provide relative market comparisons
  • Develop monthly and quarterly estimates of orders, sales, and EBIT
  • Track segment financial estimates against externally communicated financial guidance and identify variations
  • Partner with Group FP&A and Investor Relations on addressing performance variations
  • Provide strategic insights on market trends, opinions, reactions, industry, and competitors to inform senior management decisions
  • Lead professional development for a team of seven professionals and foster inclusivity

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED)
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Finance (or graduate of financial leadership program with 7-year experience)
  • Demonstrated ability to work in team-environment
  • Proven experience with merger & acquisitions and other complex transactions
  • Ability to communicate financial performance, business insights, and strategic recommendations to finance teams and senior leadership
  • Ability to build/create new processes that can be automated/repeatable
  • Comfortable navigating financial/non-financial ERPs such as Hyperion, Essebase, and Oracle
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to lead a team, set a strategic vision, and drive employee development
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
  • Established project management skills
  • Technical expertise, judgment, technical skills, and analytic thinking required to solve problems
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available
