About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform timely and accurate preventative maintenance of medical equipment in hospitals or healthcare systems
Troubleshoot, repair, and install medical equipment of moderate complexity
Lead customer communications and serve as escalation point for customer-related concerns
Own customer issues from dispatch or identification through resolution
Lead installations, validations, maintenance, and service repairs on designated equipment
Support customers and service sales with contract and on-demand revenue growth
Maintain customer relationships and provide timely communication, resolution, and follow-up
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and hospital protocols
Document all work performed daily, including metrics, debriefing, and parts ordering
Recommend value-added services to customers and sales teams
Use GE HealthCare escalation processes and collaborate with regional and national support teams on corrective action plans
Drive customer satisfaction through Service Excellence

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate degree in related field or equivalent military education and 4 years of experience servicing electronic equipment, or high school diploma/GED and 6 years of relevant experience
Technical capabilities in imaging equipment, including troubleshooting, repair and installation
Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License
Experience with web applications and Microsoft suite of products
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. required; employment visa sponsorship is not provided now or in the future
Ability to be available after hours and/or work a rotating on-call schedule including weekends
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, competing priorities while maintaining customer satisfaction
Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 35 lbs. unassisted
Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit and stand for long periods
Ability to reach at, above and below shoulder level, flex/extend neck, and have good hand and finger dexterity
Must meet regulatory, compliance, hospital protocol, and documentation requirements
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
