About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support customer sites throughout the Pacific Region as needed
- Deliver service and repair support for GE OEC Surgical C-Arm equipment
- Troubleshoot, install, maintain, and repair designated equipment
- Complete preventative maintenance and Field Modification Instructions
- Order and manage repair-parts cycle times
- Maintain customer service logs and internal service records
- Communicate daily with customers to ensure resolution and follow-up
- Maintain and calibrate tools and test equipment
- Meet Health and Human Services, environmental health and safety, and other regulatory requirements
- Manage vendors’ service-delivery processes according to GE Healthcare policies
- Escalate customer-service issues and conduct root-cause analysis
- Participate in sales opportunities, including contract renewals and revenue programs
- Provide efficient service delivery to accounts within the assigned area
- Train clinical staff on designated equipment when required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, equivalent military education, or an Associate’s Degree with 2 years of experience servicing electronic equipment
- Alternatively, 3 years of relevant experience combined with successful completion of the GEHC Field Service Engineer Apprentice Program
- Alternatively, High School Diploma/GED and 12 or more years of experience servicing electronic equipment
- Experience interfacing with internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-based service process
- Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment
- Experience troubleshooting and responding to customer concerns
- Six Sigma training/certification desired
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- GE HealthCare will not sponsor employment visas
- Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
- Some customer vaccination mandates may apply
