About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Achieve annual sales and revenue Operating Plan targets for the assigned territory
  • Retain and grow the service business within the territory and break into new accounts
  • Leverage the full service portfolio, including multivendor, technology solutions, advanced services, and equipment refresh
  • Provide input to deal pricing strategy and ensure pricing compliance
  • Manage the installed base and drive lifecycle management
  • Cultivate, leverage, and develop long-term customer relationships, including C-level and Senior VP relationships
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities that satisfy customer needs
  • Track and communicate market trends, competitor data, and effective counterstrategies
  • Present and discuss technology and clinical benefits relevant to customers
  • Differentiate assigned product offerings throughout the sales process using GE resources and approved marketing materials
  • Maintain detailed, up-to-date knowledge of customer products and services
  • Prospect for new customers and business while growing and maintaining the existing customer portfolio
  • Collaborate with equipment and sales leaders to win business for GE HealthCare

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of relevant experience; OR High School Diploma/GED and 7 years of relevant experience; OR graduation from GE HealthCare broader leadership programs
  • Must live and be willing to travel within the Northern California/Bay Area territory or be willing to relocate
  • Required to travel 40–50% or more, 2–3 days per week, including overnights when needed, using multiple transportation modes
  • 5 years of relevant sales experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to synthesize complex issues and communicate in simple messages
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills
  • Demonstrated presentation and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport at all organizational levels and work well within a team
  • Ability to balance customer-facing and administrative responsibilities, delegate, and hold others accountable
  • Demonstrated use of Salesforce or other CRM tools
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
  • Must not require employment visa sponsorship now or in the future
