About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, configure, implement, and test interfaces for GEHC Perinatal Systems products
  • Manage integration of hospital IT systems with GEHC Perinatal Systems products
  • Collaborate directly with external customers and IT vendors to develop system interfaces
  • Create detailed specifications defining interface functionality and message formatting
  • Develop and improve interface tools, products, implementation processes, and service offerings
  • Support multiple projects simultaneously, ranging from a few weeks to multiple months
  • Improve the GEHC System Integration process using Heartbeat Systems and Lean Principles

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • AS Degree in Computer Science and/or General Business and/or 7 years of relevant experience in this domain
  • Level 1 certified HL7 Cloverleaf and/or a minimum of 3 years HL7 experience
  • Project Management Experience
  • Basic Networking Experience
  • Windows Server Environment Experience
  • Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Office 365 Suite, including AI tools: Copilot, ChatGPT
  • TCL, PowerShell, Python, XML or C programming experience
  • Cloverleaf Certified (desired)
  • HL7 V2 Certified (desired)
  • Experience/Familiarity with multiple Interface Engines: Cloverleaf, CorePoint, Iguana, InterSystems, NextGen, Oracle Health Integration, Rhapsody (desired)
  • Familiarity with Cloud Native Integration Platforms (desired)
  • Experience/Familiarity with Healthcare Integrations Standards: HL7 V2.x, CDA, FHIR, JSON, REST API, Web Services, XML, X12 (desired)
  • Linux Environment Experience (desired)
  • AWS Environment Experience (desired)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • GE HealthCare will not sponsor individuals for employment visas
