About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide clinical support to customers via phone, Microsoft meetings, and email
  • Answer, evaluate, and prioritize telephone, voicemail, and email support requests
  • Listen and respond to customer needs, concerns, requests, and complaints
  • Apply troubleshooting techniques to solve complex problems
  • Handle customer inquiries and drive first-call resolution
  • Ensure customer satisfaction during all interactions
  • Log and document customer communications, troubleshooting actions, and issue resolutions
  • Provide input to new product development based on issue-resolution experience
  • Build positive and professional relationships with customers and coworkers
  • Support Ultrasound IT reporting and image-management customers during designated US business hours

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate degree or equivalent and 5+ years of Ultrasound clinical/technical experience
  • American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) certifications
  • Familiarity with GE Healthcare ViewPoint Ultrasound IT products
  • Cardiovascular, Women’s Health, and Vascular Ultrasound clinical application experience and/or product knowledge
  • Clinical-setting ViewPoint experience
  • Familiarity with clinical workflow and DICOM SR files
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks in parallel
  • Strong documentation skills for customer interactions, problem definition, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills for complex clinical problems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Critical thinking, logical, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team, and follow management direction
  • Compliance with GEHC’s background check, post-offer drug test, customer access policies, and any required immunizations or additional checks
  • Unrestricted work authorization in the US without sponsorship
  • Willingness to pass drug, educational, employment, and criminal background checks
  • At least 3 years of clinical support experience including troubleshooting hardware, networking, client/server operating systems, and peripherals
  • Windows OS, security, and shares knowledge; MCSE preferred
  • Prior GE ViewPoint, OB/GYN, cardiac, or vascular reporting application experience
  • General IT background and ability to consult on client infrastructure needs
  • Microsoft Terminal Server/Citrix experience
  • Hospital-system workflow experience
  • Prior PACS and HIS experience or familiarity
  • Working knowledge of DICOM and Ultrasound systems preferred
