Key responsibilities & impact

Configure and develop using Apex, Flow, Python, REST Query API, Agentforce script, Lightning Actions, and HXL
Build, configure, and optimize complex operational workflows using AFO
Define agent reasoning, tool-calling logic, and conditional execution loops
Implement agent-to-agent communication standards and Model Context Protocol (MCP)
Govern context sharing, task hand-offs, and tool execution across specialized AI agents
Translate B2B sales processes into scalable Salesforce solutions
Translate sales representative and sales manager needs into intuitive AI-enabled workflows
Leverage AI tools such as Claude and Kiro in the development workflow
Design, build, and maintain artifacts grounding Agentforce solutions in accurate, real-time enterprise data
Implement secure data integration patterns connecting Agentforce with enterprise applications and AI agents
Troubleshoot ingestion failures, mapping defects, schema drift, identity anomalies, query behavior, activation latency, API errors, permissions, and consumption issues
Use logs and query evidence to isolate product behavior from configuration errors

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience
At least 2 production AI, data engineering, or enterprise integration systems deployed to production
Fluency in Apex, or JavaScript, and Agentforce script; willingness to learn the others
Practical experience with REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, and modern agent protocols such as MCP, tool calling, or event-driven messaging architectures
Expertise in process orchestration and API-led connectivity using MuleSoft or custom middleware
Experience implementing secure service-to-service integration patterns, including OAuth, SAML, and event-driven architectures
Ability to implement and test secure data access, including permissions, entitlements, consent, user context, restricted populations, and negative test cases
Methodical technical troubleshooting using logs and query evidence
Hands-on experience with LLM orchestration, prompt tuning, and knowledge base retrievers for enterprise data
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience is preferred
Relevant Salesforce Agentforce and Claude certifications are preferred
Salesforce ecosystem experience, including Agentforce Specialist, Data Cloud, Apex, Flow, or Headless architectures
MuleSoft Agentfabric experience is a plus
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Must not require employment visa sponsorship now or in the future
Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
