About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Implement the service strategy for a specific site or local geographic area
- Drive operational and commercial business objectives by leading and coaching technical teams, including Biomedical Technicians, Field Engineers, and/or Program Coordinators
- Partner with the Market Service Director, local commercial account community, and peer management staff
- Serve as a point of contact for critical customer service and support issues
- Develop internal and external relationships to improve customer outcomes, market and order visibility, market share, and profitability
- Manage customer relationships across designated sites or territory
- Own the install base and contract renewals, partnering with DOS/HSAM to ensure customer retention
- Execute recalls and preventive maintenance
- Manage QPR with the Account Community
- Plan day-to-day resources, including vacation, installation, and escalated service calls, and own CSO activities
- Understand customer strategies, infrastructure, applications, service solutions, and desired outcomes
- Drive profitability, delivery, growth, and local VCP initiatives for assigned customers
- Support additional revenue opportunities within the assigned customer base
- Execute contractual deliverables and ensure service delivery meets SLA targets
- Design and implement customer success plans with GE HealthCare teams
- Maintain knowledge of customer environments and industry/technology trends
- Serve as first point of contact for rejected calls through CARES or OLC
- Manage the on-call process
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of related experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Ability to lead programs/projects
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
- Proven experience leading a team and managing customer relationships
- Ability to understand customer issues and drive resolution, whether technical or business related
- Prior experience managing a Field Service team in equipment maintenance preferred
- GE Healthcare Service or Operational experience preferred
- Prior field sales or field service experience preferred
- Proven ability to influence and drive change preferred
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Willingness to complete a drug screen, as applicable
- GE HealthCare will not sponsor individuals for employment visas
