About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee service operations within the Pacific Northwest geographic area
- Ensure delivery of high-quality service and support for biomedical equipment at partnering customer sites
- Manage a team of Biomedical Technicians located at strategic customer sites
- Coordinate service activities and maintain strong customer relationships
- Act as the single point of contact for timely and satisfactory resolution of customer concerns
- Maintain knowledge of assigned regions, coverage areas, product lines, and configuration installations
- Establish and maintain ongoing technical and business support for assigned customers
- Hire and develop talent, including staffing and performance development
- Execute policies and strategies using technical knowledge and analytical thinking
- Propose solutions for complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and interdependent production cycles
- Serve as a resource for less experienced colleagues
- Lead small, low-risk projects and build team consensus
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree and a minimum 4 years of experience in the medical services industry; OR military education program (equivalent) and a minimum 4 years of experience in the medical services industry; OR an Associate’s degree and a minimum 6 years of experience in the medical services industry; OR a High School Diploma/GED and a minimum 10 years of experience in the medical services industry
- Leadership experience that includes leading technical teams
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Ability to work from home in a dedicated office space, free from distraction with a high-speed internet connection
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required
- Previous experience servicing biomedical equipment or leading biomedical teams
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
- Established project management skills
- Experience interfacing with external and internal customers
- Experience with P&L statement
