About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead commercial execution for RFIs, proposals, cost estimates, pricing strategies, and related deliverables
  • Support senior commercial leaders on larger and more complex opportunities, including mega projects
  • Review contract terms and conditions, customer purchase orders, and commercial assumptions with Contracts, Legal, Finance, and business leadership
  • Serve as a key commercial interface with the Global Sales Team
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop compliant and competitive offerings
  • Develop and implement AI capabilities to automate and accelerate responses to RFIs and RFPs
  • Design, build, and maintain centralized databases for project artifacts, technical documentation, and personnel expertise
  • Develop commercial deal structures, financial models, and governance materials
  • Coordinate cross-functional inputs to align assumptions, risks, and commercial positions
  • Participate in customer and partner discussions and negotiations
  • Support development of project delivery models and commercial frameworks with potential partners
  • Establish proposal and contract review timelines and drive on-time completion of key actions
  • Identify commercial risks and issues and escalate with recommended actions
  • Develop and maintain best practices for document and data management, including AI-accessible knowledge bases
  • Maintain Salesforce and applicable cost-estimating tools
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of commercial tools, templates, and standard work

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university OR at least 9 years of directly related experience in projects, sales and proposals
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as required
  • Commercial and financial acumen, including experience with proposals, pricing strategies, and business cases
  • Understanding of margin, cash flow, revenue recognition, and net present value
  • Experience working across functions to support complex customer opportunities
  • Ability to influence in a matrixed organization
  • Strong analytical skills, including Excel-based financial modeling
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic business environment
  • Experience supporting customer negotiations and internal governance processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and learning agility
  • Experience or strong aptitude for digital tools, AI-based workflow automation, or database management systems
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information, if applicable
  • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
