About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Report directly to the GE Vernova Corporate Operational Excellence VP within the EDGE organization
- Act as a primary thought partner to the OpsX VP and senior leaders
- Drive strategic initiatives and operational excellence in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost across Power, Wind, and Electrification
- Identify high-priority workstreams, anticipate risks, and drive consistent execution and tracking across global segments
- Lead high-impact enterprise-wide initiatives including Read Across programs, Lean/Quality AI integration, and Lean Business System development
- Support coordination, deployment, and operationalization of Hoshin Kanri strategy deployment
- Implement and manage governance models for process adoption, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Provide strategic input on supply chain and operations design
- Analyze complex information, assess trade-offs, and make data-driven recommendations
- Partner with Digital Technology teams to refine operational KPIs and dashboards
- Facilitate Kaizen teams and lead cross-functional workshops to solve systemic issues
- Facilitate onboarding, attraction, and retention of operations talent with OpsX functions and Human Resources
- Foster inclusion, professional development, and high employee engagement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, MBA, or equivalent senior-level experience in Operations leadership
- Extensive progressive experience in industrial operations, manufacturing, or Lean management
- Proven track record leading cross-functional, global enterprise initiatives
- Deep expertise in Lean methodologies
- Expertise in Quality frameworks (ZDF/BiQ)
- Expertise in AI-native digital transformation
- Exceptional influence and communication skills capable of navigating C-Suite stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to lead through complexity, facilitate intense debate, and model “One Vernova” leadership values
- Candidates for U.S.-based positions must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Candidates contracted in Spain must have an EU Work Permit, NIE, Spanish Social Security Affiliation Number (NAF), and a bank account in Spain at the start of hiring; GE will not sponsor these requirements
- Candidates contracted in Italy must have an EU work permit and fluency in English and/or Italian
