About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the project P&ID and associated engineering-list package for assigned GT, ST, and generator-accessory scope
Establish and maintain drawing-package scope, input requirements, interfaces, assumptions, and delivery milestones
Initiate project setup in Aveva and coordinate the P&ID execution process
Collect and integrate technical inputs from system owners and engineering teams
Coordinate with PDE to develop schematics
Check input maturity, completeness, consistency, and alignment with project requirements
Lead drawing-package reviews and track actions through resolution
Escalate technical or schedule risks when needed
Assess scope and interface changes and communicate them to affected stakeholders
Release customer drawings and engineering lists according to quality and schedule requirements
Coordinate with project stakeholders, Controls, Electrical, CMPD, EPC partners, and customers
Support system owners in using Aveva Engineering
Contribute to reference-plant creation and maintenance
Drive continuous improvement and harmonization of P&ID and engineering-list methods, tools, and content across the global CDE team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent relevant education and experience
At least 5 years of engineering experience
Experience working with engineering drawings, technical inputs, or customer deliverables in a project environment
Knowledge of GT, ST, and generator-accessory systems and their associated interfaces
Familiarity with HDPE systems, processes, and tools
Experience with Aveva or comparable engineering tools
Strong coordination and follow-through skills, including the ability to identify gaps, resolve interface issues, and escalate risks
Clear written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working with internal teams and external partners
Customer-focused, collaborative, and committed to quality and on-time delivery
Strategic thinking and mindset for continuous improvement
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
