About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop the change story, stakeholder map, adoption plan, and communication cadence
  • Lead current-state and future-state value stream mapping across outage planning, execution, support, and learning
  • Translate strategy into standard work, roles, governance, decision rights, and measurable site routines
  • Identify adoption barriers, process waste, and capability gaps
  • Coordinate countermeasures with functional and regional leaders
  • Connect field operations strategy deployment to the Services Operating System, Lean Roadmap, and SQDC priorities
  • Deliver a Field Operations change-management and stakeholder plan
  • Develop end-to-end current-state and future-state value stream maps
  • Create a deployment roadmap with governance, milestones, owners, and escalation paths
  • Develop a standard-work adoption plan and site readiness criteria
  • Coach and mentor others and build organizational capability
  • Plan, govern, and deliver high-impact programs and projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in implementation and leadership in Operations, Center of Excellence, or SG&A functions
  • Experience utilizing the Lean toolkit
  • Strong knowledge of Lean fundamentals and operating methods
  • English fluency
  • Willingness to travel 20–40%
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide Lean transformation in complex, global, cross-functional industrial or technology environments
  • Expert Lean practitioner able to facilitate kaizen events and coach leaders and teams in Daily Management, structured problem solving, value-stream and process mapping, Standard Work, transactional process improvement, and PDCA
  • Ability to translate strategy into scalable execution and drive sustained adoption and measurable outcomes
  • Exceptional stakeholder-management, interpersonal, and cross-cultural communication skills
  • Ability to align senior leaders and diverse teams around a One Team mindset
  • Data-driven Lean problem-solving and decision-making ability
  • Ability to plan, govern, and deliver multiple high-impact programs and projects efficiently
  • Ability to travel to GE Vernova Wind hub locations or wind farms
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
