About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide financial leadership and operational analysis across GE Gas Power manufacturing, repairs, and multi-modal operations
  • Drive productivity, working capital optimization, product cost reduction, inventory performance, and base cost management
  • Support operating leaders with operating plans, budgets, forecasts, and strategic initiatives across income statement and balance sheet metrics
  • Lead financial reporting, closing, forecasting, and performance reviews across global manufacturing and repair facilities
  • Partner with Supply Chain Planning, S&OP, Materials Delivery, and Inventory Management teams
  • Drive standard work, process harmonization, continuous improvement, and enhanced financial controls
  • Establish and maintain reporting systems, dashboards, and analytical tools
  • Provide strategic financial counsel to business leaders
  • Ensure adherence to GE Vernova financial policies, internal controls, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards
  • Develop long-term productivity initiatives and operational resilience
  • Prepare executive-level presentations for budget reviews, FP&A cycles, operating reviews, cost councils, and strategic planning
  • Lead, coach, and develop a global finance team
  • Drive cross-functional transformation initiatives and execution plans

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Extensive experience in manufacturing finance, operations finance, or supply chain finance
  • Significant experience leading finance teams
  • For candidates applying to a U.S.-based position: legally authorized to work in the United States
  • If contracted in Italy: EU work permit required
  • If contracted in Italy: fluency in English and/or Italian
