About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the strategic lead for the organization’s end-to-end documentation lifecycle
  • Own document lifecycle from planning and structuring through creation, ingestion, archiving, and destruction
  • Map, document, and continuously improve processes to eliminate inefficiencies
  • Establish and enforce document standards, metadata schemas, naming conventions, and security classifications
  • Ensure adherence to global compliance standards, data privacy laws, and industry-specific regulations
  • Act as business owner for the PLM Document Management System
  • Partner with IT to define system requirements and oversee software updates
  • Lead implementation of new tool platforms and automation tools
  • Establish KPIs for process and documentation health
  • Analyze data and provide actionable insights to leadership
  • Lead change management for global adoption of document standards
  • Develop training materials and conduct workshops for functional teams
  • Define and lead Kaizen events, conduct Gemba, develop Standard Work, and maintain quality documents, procedures, and work instructions
  • Serve as primary subject matter expert during internal and external audits
  • Coordinate global teams, customers, suppliers, commercial teams, engineering, supply chain, projects, and document management teams
  • Prepare and present technical data and status updates to leadership with recommendations for scheduling and business strategy
  • Resolve conflicts among organizations regarding document structuring scope across technologies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Computer Science
  • 8 years’ experience in Technical Management of Combined Cycle Projects
  • Proven experience with enterprise-grade document management platforms (e.g., PLM, Documentum)
  • Experience with workflow automation software
  • Working knowledge of ISO standards, GDPR, or relevant industry-specific regulatory requirements
  • Ability to see the big picture of data flow and its impact on business outcomes
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders without direct authority
  • Commitment to detail, accuracy, and process discipline
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and troubleshoot technical or process-related roadblocks
  • Proficiency in using data to identify performance gaps and justify process investment
  • Solid understanding of power generation products, organizational structure, and internal processes
  • Knowledge and use of PLM, ERP, and scheduling systems such as Primavera P6
  • Highly effective oral and written communication skills and ability to present complex data to leadership
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards
  • Flexibility to support regional and international travel
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening
  • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
